Meet Dr. Lori
A Visionary Leader in Inclusive Education
Dr. Lori brings over 30 years of experience and a legacy of championing equity, innovation, and collaboration in education. Her impact spans K-12, Higher Education, and the private sector, where she has held roles such as Special Education Director, 504 Coordinator, and Assistant Principal, leading diverse teams to deliver exceptional services for students.
In Higher Education, Dr. Lori instructs and mentors future educators, develops innovative curriculum, and designs simulated Individualized Education Program (IEP) experiences. Her educational background includes a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University, a Master’s in Education from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a Special Education concentration from Harris-Stowe State College.
Dr. Lori’s relentless commitment to equity, strategic leadership, and creating thriving educational environments defines her legacy and drives her vision for inclusive education at The Door Way.
